Art & nature activity held at Brookfield Int'l School
Mohali, July 15 -- Brookfield International School, Siswan Road, organised a unique blend of creativity and environmental awareness in its Junior Wing, where students enthusiastically participated in activities promoting both artistic expression and ecological responsibility. While the children showcased their creativity through the "Fun with Scissors" activity, they also actively contributed to a plantation drive, reinforcing the importance of protecting nature.
The young learners created beautiful origami flowers and leaves using paper crafts to design an attractive "Green Corner" and planted saplings across the school campus. They also prepared eye-catching paper collage posters carrying messages on environmental conservation, reflecting their deep connection with nature through art. These engaging activities not only enhanced the students' fine motor skills and creativity but also helped them understand the significance of preserving the environment.
Sharing his thoughts on the occasion, Manav Singla, president of Brookfield International School, said that education should extend beyond textbooks. "When children create artwork with their own hands and plant saplings in the soil, they develop a lifelong bond with nature. Such activities instill confidence, creativity, and a sense of responsibility. The efforts of our young artists and environmental enthusiasts are truly commendable," he said....
