Chandigarh, Feb. 19 -- Divya Public School, Sector 44 D, Chandigarh organised Annual Sports Day at school premises. The event was graced by the esteemed principal, Rajesh Kamal, who presided over the function as the chief guest. The programme commenced with the ceremonial declaration of the Sports Meet open, followed by the March Past by the students of four houses, led confidently by the school sports captain. Students from Pre-Nursery to Class 9 actively participated in various track and field events, displaying remarkable energy, discipline, and team spirit. A special highlight of the day was the impressive aerobics performances, where students presented synchronised routines with enthusiasm and confidence. Adding excitement to the celebration were the teachers' games, which brought cheer and laughter to the spectators and strengthened the bond between teachers and students. The programme concluded with the prize distribution ceremony, where winners were felicitated with medals by the chief guest. Vindhyachal House was adjudged the best house.
