RAJPURA, Oct. 21 -- Although we live on a giant rock revolving around an ordinary star, we have always had the urge to discover new things. In astronomy, this curiosity has led to remarkable discoveries, from understanding our own Solar System to explore distant galaxies. The same curiosity eventually led me towards astronomy. I am Savir Sindhi, and from a very young age, I have always been interested in astronomy. My journey dates back nearly six years to the period of lockdown. It all began with watching the International Space Station (ISS). My father introduced me to this fascinating hobby. Using an application called ISS Detector, we waited on the rooftop of our house for the exact time when the ISS would appear in the night sky. When it finally appeared that single moment made the experience unforgettable. The principal announced that I would tell my story to everyone, which was truly serendipitous. I told my story-from watching the ISS as a moving white dot to reading books about space, and eventually seeing it through my own eyes. A few months later, in July 2025, I was made captain of the astronomy club; now I could introduce Astronomy to students, especially juniors, as a cabinet member. What started as simple curiosity gradually became a passion for observing, learning, researching and sharing what I discovered with others. Even today, my curiosity continues to grow, because there are countless questions waiting to be asked and countless things waiting to be explored....
