The pleasant weather over the weekend was due to a western disturbance affecting the region, the weatherman said. While its influence is likely to continue on Monday, sunny conditions are expected to return from Tuesday, with the maximum temperature likely to rise thereafter. According to the initial forecast, another western disturbance is likely to affect the region around October 1, bringing some relief to residents later this week. Meanwhile, cloudy conditions brought down the maximum temperature from 32degC on Saturday to 30.5degC on Sunday, which was 1degC below normal. The minimum temperature also dropped from 26degC on Saturday to 23.2degC on Sunday, which was normal.
