After tense hospital encounter, Salman Khan patches things up with paps
India, May 22 -- A
day after lashing out at paparazzi for invading his privacy outside a Mumbai hospital, actor Salman Khan appeared to patch things up with photographers on Wednesday night at the success bash of Raja Shivaji.
As Salman stepped out of the event with actor-director Riteish Deshmukh, paparazzi stationed outside apologised to him in unison. Acknowledging them, the actor jokingly replied, "Zor se bolo, aawaz nahi aa rahi tum sabki (Say it louder, I can't hear all of you properly)."
The reconciliation comes after a tense exchange earlier this week when photographers followed Salman to a hospital and shouted "Maatrubhumi", the title of his upcoming film, while he was there visiting someone. Visibly upset, the actor confronted the paparazzi outside the hospital and later addressed the incident on social media.
"If they (paparazzi) wanna make money from my losses.. keep quiet don't enjoy. bhai bhai bhai matrabhumi picture ki maaa ki aankh, pic imp hai ya life," Salman wrote in one of his posts. In another, he added, "Aise main sau jala doonga. Bhai k ek bhai k dukh par agli baar try kar lena mere sath. Jab bhi tumhara koi hospital mai hoga kya mai aisa react karoonga?"
Speaking to paparazzi after the patch-up, Salman clarified that the wife of someone close to him was critically unwell during the hospital visit. "Inki wife bahut beemar thi." he said. HTC...
