India, Aug. 12 -- Struck with war, seeking repair, Increasing threats, I cannot bear. You call me home, and your future, Still my land you rupture. Where birds used to chirp, now sirens do, Of all the conflicts that arise, amidst the morning dew. Where water flowed miles afar, Are now, barren war zones that gave me a scar. The vibrant colors, of my grounds, Anchored strong, still vanished without sounds. Stripes of green far and wide Where did they hide? My voiceless companions, vowed to fight Yet you, chose to darken their light. But I am not disarmed, I'll bring with me, predictable harm. Despite the loss, a smile I lent But this time, with warnings sent. A mother couldn't believe her children's betrayal, I had to fight for survival, my heart remained in denial. Being so vulnerable, now I lament, When I needed protection, you went. My thoughts so wild, still they roam How could you attack a land you called your 'home'?...
