Shimla, May 31 -- Eight persons are feared dead after the Innova they were travelling in reportedly plunged into a gorge on the Bairgarh-Sach Pass-Killar road in Churah subdivision of Chamba district in Himachal Pradesh. The mishap took place on Friday late night and the locals came to know about the incident on Saturday afternoon. The accident took place near Kalbin when the vehicle was going towards snow-bound Sach Pass. Officials said rescue operations were underway, but treacherous weather and a steep slope have stalled the rescue efforts.
