Mohali, March 11 -- Two days after a speeding black Audi car claimed the life of a Turkish woman on Zirakpur's VIP Road, police are still groping in the dark over the identity of the accused driver. CCTV footage shows the vehicle approaching at high speed and hitting the woman while she was crossing the road, tossing her in the air, and fleeing the spot. Police said the deceased, Mavluda, was a Turkish national and had been living in Zirakpur for the past seven months. ASI Rajkumar, who is leading the investigation, said police were trying to track the vehicle through additional CCTV cameras in the area.
