RANCHI, June 23 -- A 26-year-old woman reported missing in Jharkhand's Ranchi on June 19 was found dead with fractures at more than 42 places from Tupudana, people aware of the development said on Monday. The body was lying on the road near a forest close to Siri village on Sunday, the people said, adding that a villager spotted the body on the road and informed police. A police officer, on condition of anonymity, said: "During the investigation, police found evidence of sexual assault in the nearby bushes. It appears that after the assault, the woman was murdered. During autopsy doctors observed bones broken at 42 places suggesting that she was intentionally mowed down by a vehicle several times". DySP Neeraj Kumar however said they are yet to receive an autopsy report. "No one has been arrested so far. The probe is still on. A formal autopsy report is still pending."raj kumar...
