Panchkula, Oct. 1 -- A 35-year-old man allegedly died by suicide at Rattpur Colony in Pinjore on Wednesday morning. The deceased was the only son of the family. His father had retired as a principal from a private school. According to the information, the victim was reportedly distressed and had been undergoing treatment. He allegedly hanged himself from a ceiling fan when no one else was present in the room. A team from the Pinjore police station reached the spot and conducted a preliminary investigation. No foul play was found during the initial investigation, police said. The body was sent for post-mortem examination and was later handed over to the family.
