35 hurt as Haryana roadways bus overturns
ROHTAK, May 12 -- 35 people sustained injuries as a Haryana roadways bus overturned near Narwana in Jind district after the driver reportedly tried to save a scooty rider on Monday.
According to the police, the bus enroute to Hisar from Panchkula, crossed the divider and crashed into the wall of a nearby rest house before overturning on the roadside. The injured including the bus driver, Anil from Sulehra village and passengers, Bala from Kakrod, Sanjay from Bhana, Prince from Ladwa, Kamlesh and Rajender from Narwana, Aryan from Hisar and Avinash from Churu in Rajasthan, were rushed to Narwana civil hospital, no casualty was reported.
One side traffic of the Jind-Patiala National Highway was disrupted for some time. Police later called two cranes to remove the overturned bus and restore traffic movement. Narwana City police station SHO Poorn Dass, said police reached the spot immediately after receiving information about the accident and an investigation into the incident is underway....
