Chandigarh, July 10 -- The Union ministry of home affairs on Thursday issued transfer orders for AGMUT (Arunachal Pradesh, Goa, Mizoram, and Union Territories), DANICS (Delhi, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, Daman and Diu and Dadra and Nagar Haveli Civil Service) and DANIPS (Delhi, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, Daman and Diu and Dadra and Nagar Haveli Police Service) cadre officers posted in city's police and civil administration. Six officers, including three Indian Police Service officers posted in the city, have been shifted out, while four new officers have been posted to the UT. Appointments to the vacant posts are expected shortly. Among those transferred are superintendent of police (SP, headquarters) Manjeet Singh and SP operations and cyber Geetanjali Khandelwal, both sent to Delhi. SP city KM Priyanka has been transferred to Jammu and Kashmir. Deputy superintendent of police Vikas Sheokand, who also held the additional charge of the operations cell, and DSP A Venkatesh from the vigilance department have also been moved to Delhi. DANICS officer Amit Kumar has been transferred to Delhi. Chandigarh will receive IPS officer Rajesh Kumar Sharma from Jammu and Kashmir, DANICS officer Jagtap Kalyani Rajendra from Andaman and Nicobar Islands, and DANIPS officers Patil Swagat Rajkumar and Satendra Mohan Meena from Delhi....
