Panchkula, April 22 -- Police have arrested the main accused, Ankit Sangwan, a resident of Charkhi Dadri, Haryana, in a kidnapping and extortion case registered at Mansa Devi Complex police station. He was arrested on Monday, with Rs.10,000 cash, a silver bracelet, and two silver rings snatched from the victim were recovered from him. The case surfaced on December 3, 2025, after a Ludhiana resident reported his brother-in-law Sandeep, a resident of Mansa Devi Complex, was missing since the night of December 2.
