Mohali, June 26 -- Two women were injured after a Haryana Roadways bus hit them while they were crossing the road near Golden Tulip Hotel in Zirakpur on Wednesday. According to the complaint filed by Rekha Thakur, a resident of Sector 70, Mohali, she, along with her sister, Rajni, and niece, Ripi, had gone to a store in Zirakpur. After shopping, the trio was crossing the road to board a cab when a Haryana Roadways bus, bearing registration number HR-58GV-4318, struck them while attempting to overtake a car. After the mishap, the bus driver stopped and identified himself to the victims as Balwinder Kumar of Naraingarh, Haryana.
