Panchkula, Aug. 25 -- A two-day workshop on secondary Hindi was conducted under the auspices of CBSE at Chaman Lal DAV Senior Public School, Sector-11. The workshop aimed to make Hindi teaching more effective, activity-based and student-centric. The resource persons, Mithilesh Arya and Joshna Devi, guided the participating teachers on innovative teaching methodologies, creative and writing activities, assessment and evaluation, question paper setting and blueprint preparation. Teachers from the host school as well as various other schools participated enthusiastically and benefited from interactive sessions, practical activities and experience sharing. Principal Mamta Goyal remarked that continuous learning by teachers plays a vital role in enhancing the quality of education. She emphasised that Hindi is not merely a subject but an important medium of culture, expression and sensitivity, and that innovative, activity-based and creative approaches can foster greater interest and improve students' creativity and expression skills.
