10 industrial policies get Haryana cabinet nod
Chandigarh:, May 19 -- The Haryana cabinet on Monday gave a go-head to 10 major industrial policies to boost manufacturing, digital infrastructure, green industry and agro-based economic development in the state.
The industrial policy-2026 aims to attract Rs 5 lakh crore of new investment, generate 10 lakh new jobs and increase the state's exports over the next five years. The cabinet meeting was held under the chairmanship of chief minister Nayab Singh Saini. The policy proposes a wide basket of incentives to attract investors and promote employment generation. Saini, who also holds the finance portfolio, said due to its industry-friendly policies, Haryana has emerged as a preferred destination for investors from across the country and abroad. P3...
