Chandigarh, Feb. 11 -- Union minister of state for power and new and renewable energy and North Goa MP Shripad Yesso Naik on Tuesday described the Union Budget 2026-27 as a historic and transformative step towards achieving the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047. He was addressing a press conference at the BJP Chandigarh state office, Kamalam, Sector 33. Haryana cabinet minister Arvind Sharma, BJP Chandigarh state president Jatinder Pal Malhotra, state general secretary Sanjeev Rana, media incharge Ravi Rawat, Dhirendra Tayal and professional cell convener Rakesh Bhalla were also present. A special interaction with professionals and youth was later organised, where Rakesh Bhalla and Yuva Morcha leader Samir Gupta shared their perspectives on the budget.
