Ludhiana, Feb. 26 -- An enlightening session - 'Blooming Together' on Menstruation Awareness for the girls of Classes 5 to 8 was conducted by the counsellor, Priyanka, with the objective of creating awareness about this natural and important phase in the lives of adolescent girls. During the session, the counsellor sensitively guided the students to understand menstruation as a normal biological process and encouraged them not to feel ashamed or embarrassed about it. The young participants were educated about the importance of maintaining personal hygiene during menstruation and were also informed about simple exercises and the intake of a healthy, balanced diet to help alleviate discomfort associated with the menstrual cycle. Practical guidance was provided on how to manage challenges and handle difficult situations confidently these days.
