India, March 14 -- Actor Zendaya turned heads with a nostalgic fashion moment at the Essence Black Women in Hollywood Awards in Los Angeles on Thursday. The actor stepped out in a mini dress featuring a 3D floral detail. Fans instantly connected her look to Sarah Jessica Parker's character Carrie Bradshaw from Sex and the City: The Movie (SATC, 2008). The dress was originally created by designer Eugene Stutzman and first gained attention when singer Whitney Houston wore it in a 1987 album photoshoot.
