India, Nov. 6 -- The latest episode of Koffee With Karan season 9 saw Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan return to Karan Johar's couch, where they opened up about the knife attack on the actor at their Bandra home last year. The actor-couple also addressed conspiracy theories questioning whether the incident was staged and how Saif recovered so quickly. "I don't understand the conspiracy theories. That means people thought the cops were in cahoots with us because they obviously caught the guy! So then? Are they in the conspiracy?" Kareena said. Recalling the panic, she said she was out on the road in her night T-shirt, trying to hail a rickshaw while Saif was bleeding. Their son Taimur accompanied Saif to the hospital with their house help. "The first thing that Tim said was, 'Abba, are you going to die?'" she recalled. Saif described it as "the worst night in the history of nights" but said he remained calm through the ordeal. Kareena recalled the severity of his injuries, revealing that doctors had to move his nerves to remove the knife lodged near his spine. "I was a wreck train, he was fine," she said. Their younger son, Jeh, who witnessed the incident, even gifted Saif his plastic sword to protect himself in the future. "He thinks of Saif as some sort of Iron Man," Kareena added. The incident took place in the early hours of January 16, 2025, when an intruder allegedly entered the actor's 12th-floor Bandra apartment through the fire escape.
