India, June 19 -- American actor Daveigh Chase, known for portraying antagonist Samara Morgan in the cult horror film The Ring (2002), died on June 16 at the age of 35. Her longtime manager John Ryan Jr confirmed that she was admitted to a Los Angeles hospital for malnourishment. Chase died on Tuesday after developing complications from meningitis, which later escalated into a bloodstream infection and ultimately sepsis. The former child star began acting at age four, booking her first Hollywood job when she was seven, but she retired from acting full time in 2015. She was known for voicing Lilo in the animated show Lilo & Stitch. She also appeared in TV dramas Charmed, ER, Touched by an Angel and Big Love.HTC...
