India, Aug. 20 -- A ctor Saiee M Manjrekar, who was recently seen in Arjun Son of Vyjayanthi, returned to the big screen after nearly a year's gap - something she says is an intentional choice in a time when most actors chase packed schedules. The 23-year-old, who made her debut at 16 with Dabangg 3 (2019), says the film industry has shaped her outlook in significant ways. "The industry can be very unforgiving because every move is under a microscope. That has taught me to mature quickly and always bring my best to the table. When I started out, I didn't pay attention to certain details that I now consider very important," says Saiee, who is currently shooting for the Telugu film India House. She admits that her journey has been about learning patience. "You can't rush growth here. It's about being consistent, evolving with every experience, and understanding that your choices shape the career you want to build," she adds. Daughter of filmmaker-actor Mahesh Manjrekar, Saiee has appeared in films such as Major (2022) and Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha (2024). Her filmography has been marked by gaps, but she insists it's a deliberate strategy. "Taking smaller but meaningful steps helps me grow with each project, rather than jumping at every opportunity that comes my way. Everyone's path is different, but I've always preferred quality over speed. I think that eventually builds something more lasting," she says. Does she ever feel insecure about not being part of the rat race? Saiee is quick to shrug it off. "It really depends on what you want your journey to look like. For me, slow and steady feels more organic."...
