India, Nov. 2 -- The last rites of filmmaker Sanjay Gupta were held at Mumbai's Versova Crematorium on Saturday in the presence of family, friends and industry colleagues. He was 59 and died following an accidental fall at his residence on Friday night. Actors Abhishek Bachchan, Manoj Bajpayee and Rajpal Yadav, filmmaker Rakesh Roshan, casting director Mukesh Chhabra, producers Bhushan Kumar, Ratan Jain and Ganesh Jain, and director Vivek Agnihotri, among others, attended the funeral. Earlier in the day, actors Fardeen Khan, Rohit Roy, Ronit Roy and Gulshan Grover, along with filmmakers Ashoke Pandit and Milap Zaveri, visited his residence to pay their last respects.
