India, May 13 -- A video recently surfaced on social media from singer-composer Anuv Jain's Chicago concert on May 1, where a fan suffered a seizure in the middle of his performance. Noticing the situation, the singer immediately paused the show to ensure the fan received the necessary medical attention. Recalling the incident, Anuv tells us, "It all happened very suddenly. I noticed movement and concern near the front of the crowd and while I couldn't fully understand what was happening, I could tell something was off. Once we realised it was a medical situation, we stopped the music so the person could get proper attention and space. Pausing the performance didn't feel like a difficult decision, it felt necessary. At that point, nothing else really mattered except making sure they were okay." The 31-year-old adds that after the concert, he checked with his team about the fan's condition and was informed that the person had received immediate medical attention and was being cared for. "I was glad to hear they were stable and surrounded by people helping them," he says. Urging fans to remain cautious during concerts and public performances, Anuv shares, "Live shows can get very emotional and overwhelming sometimes, and in all the excitement, people forget to take care of themselves. So I'd just say stay hydrated, eat properly before coming, and don't ignore any signs of physical discomfort." He also stresses the importance of strong medical support and effective crowd management at such events. "At the end of the day, everyone's there to have a good experience, and safety should always be part of that," he says. Currently touring the US, Anuv says the experience has been surreal. "The US tour has been special. Every city has had a different feeling and memory attached to it. I think the most overwhelming part for me has been seeing people from such different backgrounds connect deeply with the music. Hearing crowds sing every word back still surprises me every single time," he ends....
