India, March 14 -- Singer-actor Jennifer Lopez, who recently started her Las Vegas residency Up All Night, has opened up about coping with her divorce from actor Ben Affleck in 2024. "I had to stop everything and I took a year off. I cancelled tours. I just decided to be home and sit in what had happened without running away from it. No work, no new relationships, just sit through it," the 56-year-old told Good Morning America. In 2024, JLo filed for divorce from Affleck after two years of marriage, finalised in January 2025. The two rekindled their romance in 2021, nearly two decades after their first high-profile engagement in 2002, before separating in 2004. Shortly before announcing their split in August 2024, the singer cancelled her This Is Me... Live tour in May of the same year, saying she would be "taking time off to be with her children, family and close friends."
