India, Sept. 24 -- A head of the release of his upcoming film The Paradise, actor-producer Nani on Tuesday sought Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy's help to facilitate his visit to an RTC X Roads theatre in Hyderabad for a public premiere of the film today. Taking to X, the 42-year-old wrote, "I'd love to visit a theatre at RTC X Roads for #TheParadise premiere show and experience the film with our audience, the very people we made it for.... We will follow all the necessary protocols and safety guidelines in place. That'll be our priority." In response, CM Reddy asked the actor to submit an application to the designated police station, adding that the concerned team will review the application and take a decision. Nani's request assumes significance as a stampede had occurred at Sandhya Theatre in the same area, in December 2024, at the premiere of Pushpa 2: The Rule, when actor Allu Arjun and other team members arrived unexpectedly for a fan screening. A 35-year-old woman died in the mishap, while her nine-year-old son was severely injured. Following this, a chargesheet was filed by Hyderabad Police, naming Arjun and 23 others as accused.
