Less is more: Mahieka Sharma on skincare

odel Mahieka Sharma may be known for her glowing, flawless skin, but she admits it hasn't always been that way. The 25-year-old says she struggled with hormonal acne as a teenager, which often dented her confidence before shoots. Over time, she says, patience and a shift towards natural skincare helped her transform her relationship with her skin.
Frequently exposed to long hours of makeup, travel and shoots, Sharma says she turned to Ayurveda for balance rather than quick fixes.
Mahieka Sharma: During the day, I use a serum and a matte cream if my skin feels oily, along with sunscreen, which is non-negotiable. At night, I stick to a facial oil. I believe in keeping it simple.
I love using ghee on my lips and dipping my face in ice water before early shoots or events.

Both. I don't think one is better than the other. I go for what's effective and clean.
