India, March 11 -- On March 8, Kinshuk Vaidya welcomed a baby boy with wife, Diiksha Nagpal Vaidya. Sharing his excitement about becoming a dad, the actor who got famous as a child artiste with the show Shaka Laka Boom Boom, admits that the feeling of fatherhood still hasn't fully sunk in. "Everything is moving so fast. We're still trying to process these new feelings because the baby is keeping us on our toes. We're learning new things every minute. It's a surreal feeling," says Kinshuk. The actor shares that while they expected a normal delivery, the baby came through a C-section operation. "But both the baby and Diiksha are healthy. She also got discharged yesterday and is recovering well." Gushing over his newborn, the 34-year-old says, "It's a beautiful, healthy baby boy and I had always wished for one. Our friends and loved ones had even turned guessing the baby's gender into a lighthearted game." Becoming a father has given Kinshuk a new perspective towards work-life balance too: "Now that I've become a father, I'd like to work fewer hours. I don't want to be the kind of father whose child doesn't get to see him because he's always working. I'm currently shooting, but have taken a small break to be with Diiksha. Once I resume, I'll be cutting down on my working hours from 12 to 8 hours a day." While the actor isn't against introducing his kid to his fans, he says they'll prefer to keep things private for now. "We don't plan to share his pictures for now; we'll decide when the time is right. I feel the more you keep something away from people, the more curiosity it creates. We'll introduce him to the world when the right time comes," he ends....
