India, March 13 -- A handwritten letter by John F Kennedy to Swedish aristocrat Gunilla von Post is now up for auction more than 70 years later. Written in 1955 on US Senate letterhead, the note asks von Post to "write to me right away" as Kennedy planned a trip to Europe. At the time, he was a senator from Massachusetts. The letter also mentions his possible visit to Stockholm and is signed "Jack." It comes with the original envelope written in Kennedy's handwriting. The item is being sold by RR Auction and is expected to fetch over $30,000. Kennedy and von Post reportedly met in Europe in 1953 and stayed in touch for years....
