Jaipur's civic portal ditches official jargon for desi lingo

he Jaipur Nagar Nigam (JMC) website (jda.rajasthan.gov.in) appears to have skipped the usual bureaucratic jargon when it comes to filing complaints. Instead, citizens are presented with rather direct options such as "Kutta pagal ho gaya hai pakadwana hai", "Suwar mar gaya hai", "Billi mar gayi hai" and "Kutte bahut ho gaye hain". The unusually candid phrasing has caught the internet's attention, especially for its departure from the formal language typically seen on government websites.
A screenshot of the council's website shared by X user @ravihanda (top left) on Monday went viral, clocking over 10.5K likes. Social media users were quick to pick up on the unusual wording.
