India, Feb. 11 -- F ormer tennis player Sania Mirza, who is currently seen hosting her podcast, continues to turn heads not just for her sporting legacy but also for her glowing skin and fit physique. The six-time Grand Slam champion credits her radiant look to consistent workouts, mindful eating, and intentional lifestyle changes. In a recent interview with Tweak India, the 39-year-old shared, "First thing I do is take a healthy shot, which includes turmeric, honey, lime, some black seeds and ginger." She follows this with soaked chia seeds in water and coffee. She added, "Earlier, I used to follow a carb and protein-heavy diet: idlis, dosas, etc. Now it's more protein-heavy because my level of activity is about 20 per cent of what it used to be." Her mornings usually include three to four eggs, mostly egg whites, while lunch is carefully planned around protein intake. When it comes to fitness, Sania strikes a balance between strength training and outdoor activity. She currently focuses on weight training, having paused pilates due to time constraints, and also includes outdoor runs of about five to seven kilometres. As for her skincare routine, Sania admits to following what she calls a "ridiculous" routine: "I do a lot of Korean skincare: about a 10-step routine in the morning and another 10-step routine at night." However, she stressed that a good moisturiser and sunscreen have been game-changers for her skin over the years. One skincare habit that has made a noticeable difference, according to Sania, is red-light therapy. "I've started doing red light therapy over the last year. Not just for my skin, but for my hair as well. Every other day, I sit under it for about half an hour, and I feel it really rejuvenates the skin," she said....
