How ChatGPT turned henna designer for this bride
India, Aug. 5 -- A bride's last-minute mehendi design, created with the help of an AI chatbot, has drawn attention after being shared on Instagram by Open AI recently. The personalised artwork was designed for Mumbai-based content strategist Anusha Jain's wedding in Jaipur this year, after she turned to the AI tool for inspiration.
Recalling how it all came together, Anusha tells us, "I did not get time to pick references. My brother, Anant, suggested, 'Didi, why don't you use ChatGPT?' He brought the phone to me, and I put in a prompt with little details about me and Dikshant."
The siblings fed the AI tool details about their story, such as Anusha being from Mumbai and Dikshant being from Jaipur. The chatbot then suggested creative ways to weave their journey into the henna design, including an auto-rickshaw representing Mumbai, an elephant symbolising Jaipur, and a family crossword.
Anusha adds that mehendi artist Teena Tomer brought the ideas to life with her own touch: "Instead of just copying, she improvised the structure." The final look cost around Rs.10,000-12,000.
Teena says that while the concept was unique, the use of AI for customised designs is slowly becoming more common: "Ye ekdam hatke concept tha. Par haan, ab aisa hone laga hai ki log AI aur ChatGPT se designs banwa kar aane lage hain."...
