Honey Singh skips cyber summons, seeks more time

apper Yo Yo Honey Singh skipped a Maharashtra Cyber summons on Monday in connection with the objectionable remarks made during a Delhi show, and has sought more time to appear before investigators.
A Maharashtra Cyber official said the agency now plans to approach court for an arrest warrant and initiate a Look-out Circular to prevent Singh from leaving the country.
The case stems from a viral concert clip in which the singer allegedly made an indecent reference to sex in cars. Singh later apologised, saying he had been trying to communicate a safe-sex message to a largely Gen Z audience, but acknowledged that the way he expressed it was inappropriate.
The latest case comes months after the Delhi High Court ordered URLs carrying the controversial Volume 1 song, associated with Singh and rapper Badshah, to be taken down, calling the lyrics vulgar, obscene and derogatory towards women. HTC...
