The actor plays a young Sherlock Holmes in the series Young Sherlock, which explores the legendary detective's formative years. Having gained a massive fanbase early in his career, Hero admits that fame initially felt overwhelming. "It definitely gets overwhelming. I know it's easy to say, but I never really expected fame," the 27-year-old tells us. For the actor, staying grounded has been key to navigating the spotlight. "When you talk about scrutiny and support, I'm really grateful that the support massively seems to outweigh the scrutiny for me," he shares. Instead of focusing solely on Holmes as the brilliant detective audiences know, the Prime Video series explores him as a person first. "When Sherlock's a detective, it's his job and he can emotionally detach from the mysteries he solves. But in this version, the mystery directly affects him, which makes him far more emotionally involved," Hero explains. The show also delves into Sherlock's early relationship with James Moriarty, played by Donal Finn. According to Hero, building that camaraderie was essential to the story. "We wanted their conversations to feel completely in sync, almost like they share one mind and finish each other's sentences," he signs off....
