India, May 20 -- Even before the release of the new Harry Potter series, child actor Gracie Coachrane has exited from her role of Ginny Weasley. The actor's family released a joint statement on Tuesday, citing "unforeseen circumstances", adding that her time on the sets of the show has been "wonderful". "Gracie is very excited about the opportunities her future holds," the statement added. Production house HBO confirmed the news that Cochrane will not return for the next season.
