India, May 21 -- O n the final leg of his five-nation tour, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Italian PM Giorgia Meloni over dinner in Rome on Tuesday. Soon after, Meloni shared a video thanking Modi for gifting her a packet of Melody toffees, instantly sending social media into a frenzy. The gesture was widely seen as a nod to the internet's viral "Melodi" memes and fan edits inspired by the leaders' interactions since the 2023 G20 Summit in New Delhi.
