The speculation began after a video of the two at Mumbai's The Taj Mahal Palace surfaced online. In the clip, Patel is seen introducing Pandya to a group of friends and placing her hand on his shoulder. Sharing the video, an X user claimed that "all the Reddit rumours" about the two appeared to be coming true. Patel reposted a screenshot of the claim on her Instagram Stories and responded with sarcasm: "So true ya. My God, you're correct... truly romantic way my hand was on him."
