India, July 16 -- As the FIFA World Cup 2026 finale approaches, the football body has increased the excitement by announcing the lineup of performances for the closing ceremony. The event will start 90 minutes prior to the kick-off and will be headlined by Hollywood actor Tom Cruise. Apart from Cruise, Italian singer-songwriter Laura Pausini, American singer-actor Nicole Scherzinger, English singer-songwriter Robbie Williams and American online streamer IShowSpeed are also lined up to perform at the New York New Jersey Stadium on July 19. American actor-singer Jennifer Hudson will croon the USA national anthem before the final for the closing ceremony. According to BBC, the half time of the world cup finale is expected to last for 20 to 25 minutes. The performances during that will reportedly be headlined by Colombian singer Shakira, American singer Madonna and K-pop boyband BTS. This is the first time that the half time will exceed the otherwise decided 15-minute window.
