India, Aug. 27 -- Actor Eijaz Khan, who's set to turn 50 on August 28, says the age is a mixed bag for him. "Once you turn 50, the bulk of your life is likely behind you. I'm okay with this, however, as the best time of my life could still be ahead," he shares, adding, "Now, I want to stay away from people who are not adding value to my life and vice versa." He reveals that this year could be the best year yet, as he plans to complete his first Umrah. "It has been on my mind since the longest time. I just have to sort out a week-long visit to Saudi," he says, promising, "In my 50th year, the biggest milestone of my life-my first Umrah, is happening for sure." Eijaz, who has been a part of films such as Jawan (2023), Dhoom Dhaam (2025) and web series Adrishyam (2024) lately and will next be seen in 120 Bahadur, recalls that in childhood, birthdays were never a big deal for him. "My dad was working and with my mum not being home, there was no one in the house to organise anything," he says, adding, "So, I'm not used to celebrating birthdays in a planned manner." But now, things are different, as he has the freedom to choose how he wants to celebrate his day: "I can just sit at home and eat food prepared by my dad, or maybe just go for drive, or have a working birthday." Professionally, he wants to continue exploring. "I was doing television when it was a different ball game and a great medium. Then films happened. After that, I became a part of the OTT space when it had just started to gain momentum, with City of Dreams (2019), followed by reality shows," he says. So, what does the future look like for him? "It will be more challenging with so much happening. You will see me working more and absolutely take up something good on TV after all these years," he says, adding, "As the plan is to work and be constantly busy."...
