India, April 18 -- Content creator-actor Bhuvan Bam is set to make his Bollywood debut this year with the film Kuku Ki Kundali, co-starring Wamiqa Gabbi. The film was officially announced last month, and the 32-year-old is excited for this new journey. "The dream I saw in my Malviya Nagar (Delhi) home, that becoming a reality is a personal milestone. We have done a schedule for over a month, and that's when I realised that the game of perception is only from the outside. Internally, everyone is there to prove themselves and make a great film. When you become a part of the system, you realise things are not the same as they are portrayed," he says. Bhuvan adds that he is feeling the excitement to see himself on the 70mm screen. "Yes, there are jitters as I have waited for this moment my whole life. But the feeling hasn't completely sunk in yet," he says. Gaining recognition through his comedy videos on YouTube, the creator is finding it unique to experience the working of afull Bollywood masala film, especially the song and dance sequences. "It's my first time, so I am excited for it. If I had written something like it, I couldn'thave imagined myself doing it at all. I never imagined myself being a romantic lead, but when youdo it, you realise yourpotential," shares Bhuvam. Having previously written the shows he acted in, working on someone else's vision did take time for Bhuvan to get used to. "It's a massive difference, and I had to unlearn a lot of things. I realised it's okay to let other people take some of the pressure which they are better equipped to deal with," he shares. Ask him if he is now looking to focus more on his acting prospects than writing and he denies it: "I will get bored and frustrated if I don't write. I need to satiate my creative hunger."...
