Sri Lanka, Sept. 13 -- A 20-year-old youth who sustained serious injuries in a road incident near the Salgado Grounds in Anuradhapura was admitted to the Anuradhapura Teaching Hospital, police said.

The incident occurred when a van and a motorcycle collided, resulting in serious injuries to the motorcyclist.

The injured man is a resident of the Thanthirimalaya area.

Police have also revealed that he did not possess a valid driving license.
