Sri Lanka, Sept. 7 -- A special leave to appeal petition filed before the Supreme Court requesting an injunction to prevent the hearing of the case filed against former President Mahinda Rajapaksa's son Yoshitha Rajapaksa, before the Colombo High Court under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act was withdrawn by Yoshitha Rajapaksa today (7).

The petition was considered before a Supreme Court bench comprising Supreme Court Judges Mahinda Samayawardhena, Sampath Abeykoon, and Gihan Kulatunga.
