Sri Lanka, July 17 -- The wind speed in several areas of the country can increase tomorrow as well, the Department of Meteorology stated.

The department mentioned that the wind speed in the Northern, North Central, and Northwestern Provinces, and in the Matale, Hambantota, and Trincomalee Districts, can increase up to 50 kilometres per hour.

Furthermore, a few showers can occur in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, and Northwestern Provinces, and in the Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Galle, and Matara Districts, the Department of Meteorology added.
