Sri Lanka, May 5 -- The political landscape of Tamil Nadu witnessed a massive transformation today as the newly formed Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam, led by actor Joseph Vijay, became the single largest party in the 2026 Assembly elections. In a result that stunned analysts, the TVK secured 108 seats, leaving them just 10 short of a majority in the 234-member house.
