Sri Lanka, Oct. 13 -- The 78th session of the World Health Organization (WHO) Regional Committee for South-East Asia is set to commence in Colombo today (13).
Sri Lanka is hosting the three-day conference, which will continue until Wednesday (15).
Attendees include World Health Organization Director-General, Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, and WHO South-East Asia Regional Director, Katrina Bohme.
Also participating are the Health Ministers representing eight countries, as well as ambassadors from two other nations, along with other WHO experts.
The agenda for the region's health priorities for the coming year is expected to be formulated during this session.
