Sri Lanka, Sept. 30 -- A warrant was issued today by Colombo High Court Judge Buddhika C. Ragala for the arrest of Bodu Bala Sena organization secretary Venerable Galagodaatte Gnanasara Thera to be presented before the court, following the monk's failure to appear in court today.

The Attorney General filed these indictments in the Colombo High Court in court number nine, accusing the secretary of the Bodu Bala Sena organization of insulting Islam.

When the case was called before the court today, the warrant was issued because the defendant did not appear.
