Sri Lanka, Oct. 7 -- The renovated Vipassi Buddhist Centre within the premises of the Colombo National Hospital was recently inaugurated by the Minister of Health and Mass Media, Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa.
The center was refurbished with an estimated expenditure of Rs. 6.8 million, driven by the Hospital Services Board under the patronage of the All Ceylon Amarapura Maha Sangha Sabha.
The Navy contributed the labour for the renovation.
During the ceremony, a stock of hospital and medical equipment valued at approximately Rs. 20 million was donated to the National Hospital.
