Sri Lanka, Sept. 22 -- The Trial-at-Bar is scheduled to deliver its verdict today in the main case concerning the 2019 Easter Sunday terrorist attacks.

The bench is chaired by High Court Judge Navaratne Marasinghe, with High Court Judges Sujeeva Nishshanka and Ramanathan Kannan serving as the other members.

The Attorney General has filed 23,270 charges against 24 accused, including Naufer Maulavi, alleging that they aided, abetted and conspired with eight suicide bombers, including Zahran Hashim.

The court has accepted 10 confessions made by the accused as evidence, while 2,076 items have been produced as court material, including concealed explosives, sharp weapons and firearms.
