Sri Lanka, Aug. 3 -- A motor vehicle sustained severe damage in a collision with a wild elephant early this morning (03) while travelling along the Habarana - Minneriya main road.

Our correspondent noted that four individuals travelling in the vehicle at the time of the incident remained unharmed.

The collision occurred around 1:10 a.m. today on the Habarana - Minneriya main road passing through the Minneriya National Park, where the driver failed to spot the wild elephant on the road immediately due to dark conditions during the early morning hours.

With the moving motor vehicle colliding against the wild elephant at that moment, the enraged elephant attacked the vehicle, and the occupants managed to run away quickly to save their liv...
