Sri Lanka, Feb. 27 -- The Ministry of Education has decided to extend the validity period of shoe vouchers issued to selected school students, lay and clergy students of Pirivenas, and Sil Matawas for the year 2026.

According to an official statement released by the Ministry, the vouchers worth Rs. 3,000, which were originally set to expire on February 28, 2026, will now be valid until March 15. T

his extension aims to provide more time for beneficiaries to utilise the vouchers at authorized outlets.
